At CFNM, we make starting CrossFit simple, fun, and non-intimidating. Many people getting started with CrossFit are entering our gym after years of physical inactivity or perhaps after an injury; many are fit, but have never been exposed to the fundamentals of CrossFit. The emphasis of ELEMENTS is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements in a slower, more instructional class setting.

If you are new to CrossFit, ELEMENTS is most likely the best place for you; a chance to get more comfortable with CrossFit in a less competitive environment. The ELEMENTS class will be a full hour of warm-up, instruction, and the workout of the day, just like our level 1 classes. We will provide you with the technique and skills necessary for keeping you safe and maximizing your results when you enter level 1 classes. We are going to be hammering technique—both to ensure your safety and success at the next level.

1-on-1 Elements Option

If joining the Elements program either doesn’t work with your schedule or you are not ready for group training—CrossFit North Marin offers Elements training in a 1-on-1 setting. This is a great opportunity to work with you individually about nutrition, goals, learn some of the more technical Olympic lifts and ensure that you feel comfortable before training with other athletes. [5] private sessions
